Gender ultrasound possibly wrong?

Has anyone had the 3D/4D ultrasound at 14 weeks and it end up being wrong when you go for the anatomy and gender scan at 20+ weeks? We went and got the 4D at 14 weeks which we paid for ourselves not part of our doctors office and they told us a boy. Which we didn’t care which gender we just wanted to find out early on so we knew. Well a couple family members have been psyching me out saying “what if they tell you it’s a girl at this ultrasound” (which I’m having done in a couple weeks. I am feeling kinda nervous about it. Like I honestly don’t feel like it’ll be different results but if it is how embarrassing since we already announced a boy..
Has anyone had this happen where they say Boy and it end up being a girl later on?

I’m in the same position right now. 14 I was told boy and I told my doctor and she said that girl parts can still be swollen at that point and that basically I should wait for the 20 week appointment which mine is next week so I’m super curious so see what they say

At 14 weeks if they told you it was a boy, it’s probably accurate. Genitalia is developed by the boy and girl parts should not be overly swollen at that point.

No. But I had an ultrasound done at 14 weeks, which we paid for out of pocket not at our dr office like you, and was told it was a girl. I started freaking out b/c a lot of people (not everyone, but more than one person) on this app were saying that it was too early to tell and that my ultrasound looked more like a boy- which I did not see boy at all so idk what they were looking at lol.
So I was worried I’d get told it was a boy at my dr office but we went in at 16 weeks to my regular doctor and also 17 weeks, at an ultrasound school where I was being used as practice, and they all said it was a girl!
It definitely is possible for someone to be wrong, but I would trust the ultrasound place because the place you went to is in business (not out of business) and they know what they’re looking for at that stage!
