No more cosleeping

My baby is sleeping in his crib tonight for the first night and I’m so emotional about it 😭

He was in his bassinet in our room until he was 6 months. Then around that time he got RSV and bronchitis so he slept in bed with us. Since then he’s had back to back ear infections so he’s just stayed in bed with us.

Now he’s healthy and my husband says it’s time for him to try out his crib.

Before having a baby I was all for babies sleeping in their own rooms and cribs but now that I’m experiencing motherhood...it’s so hard 😭💔 I just want him next to me. And it’s hard for me to understand rushing him to his crib when 1. We all sleep great when our baby is with us in bed and 2. We are still having plenty of sex.

Anyone else in the same boat? Any advice?
