What is the best age gab for babies #1 & #2?

Just curious for everyone's opinions. I'm so conflicted about when to have baby #2. My son will be 1 in a few weeks, so I've been thinking about it a lot.

I had planned to try when my baby girl was 18ish months but 5 months post partum and BAM I was pregnant again.

Mine are 27 months and 22 months apart (July 2015, October 2017, August 2019) and honestly it’s rough. I agree with what someone else said, wait until first one is out of diapers 😂 My siblings and I are 5 years apart and for me that’s way too much. As a teen I had to babysit the youngest one all the time and we’re only starting to have a real good relationship now that she’s 16. 
I think there is not really a best age gap, everyone is different but it always works out in the end.

My sister loves her age gap. All 3 are roughly 4 years apart. Since they start school at 4, she liked that she had the day with the baby, as well as to nap when baby naps haha . Mine will be 2.5 years apart. I never wanted too far apart but not sure how it will work out lol

Every family is different. I wanted mine to be 4-5 years apart. Got pregnant when our first was 2 though. If we have a third we’re trying for that 4-5 year gap again.

People with more than a kid always told me that 18 months apart is the minimum.

We planned ours to be over two years apart. It’s been perfect so far!
