i wanted to be a detective

So when I was little I would watch the investigation discovery channel with my grandpa. I was interested in how they try to find the twisted people behind a crime. I know you have to be a cop first then move up to detective over the years.

Since cops are getting a bad name I didn’t want to pursue it anymore. I didn’t want my family or I at risk because of the hatred some people have for officers. Yes there are crooked cops ,but it’s not all of them.

I wanted to be in law enforcement to help the world be a safe place, but now I don’t want to be in a career that people don’t care for.
