What do I do...

My ex raped me and physically hurt me and I’ve started talking to the police but I am so done talking to them... his family is buddy buddy with the whole police station so they don’t believe me and I don’t trust talking to them anymore. What do I do when his whole family is widely popular here and he hurt me to the point I can’t even look at myself in the mirror... I feel like giving up. I know I’d be helping other women from him too but still nothing will get done because they’re close to everyone here especially the police force here.
