How do you split baby duty with your SO?

I usually watch my baby overnight every night. Then he takes over in the morning for a couple hours, then I take her for a few, he takes her for the last time that day and I watch her overnight while he plays video games with his boys.

I dont . He works n i stay home so baby duty is on me . Myvso does help tho when i need it

With our first I did everything! He worked 10-12 hours a day and I stayed at home. So he needed to sleep and wasn’t there during the day. 
It’ll probably be the same with this one because he still works a ton.

The most helpful thing my partner does is take the first night shift. I sleep best at that time. I leave him a bottle of pumped milk and he feeds her when she wakes up. Then I’m on from there, usually she eats a second time at 3 or 4 am then we get up for the day at 6 or 6:30. He also takes her for part of the day on the weekends.

We were both on leave. During the day it was whoever was available at the time, splitting things like cooking and cleaning bottles as well as feeding or changing baby though that was mainly on me. He also took 8-midnight so I could get a few hours of good sleep while he watched the baby monitor. We still do that and I went back 2 days ago to work. But he comes up to bed around 10 now so the sleep isn’t as good. I know he needs to sleep too though... ugh.

I went to bed early and he stayed up to do a late night feed, then they both went to bed. I would take over for the 2,3,4 am feed and be on for the day. 
Now that the baby is able to nurse properly, I feed him at night if he wakes up for it. I am also currently on daycare drop off and pickup since I moved temporarily for work, but when we are back home, dad does the morning routine and drop off, and I do pickup and afternoon/dinner prep and we eat together as a family. Whoever doesn’t have paperwork to do does bath time.

My husband works nights 3 days out of the week and I work everyday. So he watches our daughter during the day and then on Fridays when he worked that night before my daughter comes to work with me. It works since I work at a daycare.

I’m on maternity leave so I care for the baby all day until he is home from work and then we usually hang out as a family until baby goes to bed. During the week I get up at night if necessary and on Friday/Saturday night he will get up if necessary to give me a break. My husband also does Saturday and Sunday morning baby stuff because he is naturally awake early and it gives me the chance to sleep in. We work together and it’s going great for us

I am home on maternity leave and he is working, so I pretty much have all kid duties. He does help out when he gets home from work until we all go to bed. He is the one that attends to our toddler if he wakes up at night since I have the baby to care for. He helps with diapers, toileting, bath, dinner, and entertaining.

We don’t really designate certain tasks regarding taking care of our baby. He helps whenever he is home from work. We work as a team with everything at home. So if I’m cleaning up dinner then he will give her a bath and put her to bed. If he’s cleaning up then I’ll do it. We just sort of go with the flow and make sure that we are both involved.

Little guy isn't born yet; but I'll be the main caretaker since my SO works 3rd shift and sleeps during the day for work. He'll likely cover mornings to let me get some sleep since he already gets my oldest (previous relationship) off to school for me since he gets home around the time he needs woken up. He also always has Saturdays off so I'd imagine he'll take over most of that day as well to "give me a break" but this is all just a guess right now. Lol
