Curious what other people think???

So my friend is almost 20 years old and thought about “hitting up” a guy she used to work with who is currently 17, turning 18 this summer. I’ve heard mixed opinions from the people around us but I’m super curious what people think of the age difference? I get it’s really only a 2.5 year gap but some people think she’d be a “sex offender/pedophile”. Honestly I think going far enough to use those terms is a little too dramatic. Thoughts??

A 19 year old dating a 17 year old is normal and any of y’all ladies judging up in here are honestly kinda ignorant. 2 years is Nothing. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Legally they give like a 3 year ‘grace’ period to be reasonable. Anything over that is a problem. I’m an Admin or Justice major and also work for a PD so I can promise it is fine unless their parents want to make it an issue

It’s really not that big of a gap . If it was a 17y.o girl and a 20y.o guy I would say the same . The gap is for years ( starting at 16) in this state . i was 19 dating a 24 year old . Granted we were friends from 15-19 🤷‍♀️

Check the legal age of consent. I know where I'm from its 17 so he would be legal.
