Clingy

Is anyone else dealing with a clingy baby? My 2 month old is going through a leap & I cannot put him down. I do have the ergo baby sling which has helped allow me to get some stuff done around the house but wondering if I need to invest in a swing or something that can give me an hour hands free. Any advice??

I have a swing and vibrating bouncer... and she still wants me to carry her all day. 🙄 useless. Still no free time lol

Lol glad I’m not alone! I was beginning to think my baby was broken. Literally if I set him down he screams then stops the second I pick him back up.

Totally normal for baby to have clingy phases. My girl just went thru one. It was a rough 2 days but she’s back to her normal self again. If I absolutely had to do something (I have 2 other kids too) I would lay her down in our rock n play and let her watch me. I also just found the power cord and so it rocks again and she loved that.

My baby likes the swing and will nap or just hang out in it when I need to put baby down. His brother did, too. It's worth a try.

I have had a swing for about 4 weeks. Baby will stay in it for a bit and i get to prepare my breakfast or do the dishes real quick but i dot think hes ever gone one hour in it. Even when he has fallen asleep in it. He usually wants to be held or needs a change of scenery.

My daughter is going through a leap too and is the same way. The carrier was okay but she still wanted me to just hold her every now and then. I have a swinger, rocker and bouncer with vibration. The bouncer works but only for about 10-15 mins every 3 ish hours. And the rocker works but only for naps and she has to be in a deep sleep for it. Her last leap only lasted a few days. I’m hoping this is the same or my arms will be ripped soon lol.
