Can someone help?

February 3rd I started my cycle and I knew it was going to be a weird one because it started out vvvvvery dark. Well, as the days went by it was light enough to where I didn’t need a tampon just a pad and thought everything was fine. Well, here we are 9 days later and still spotting! What could be happening? Called my doctor to see if I could get in but I have not heard back. Has this happened to anyone else?
