Change jewelry or wait??
So I have had my helix and nose for about 7 months now shy of a few weeks maybe, but they do not seem to be healing! I know my helix will take around a year, but even now I don’t think I should be having as much pain as I do really. It has been going in and out of healing and same with my nose. I feel like my nose piercing should be pretty much healed by now, but I don’t think it is. It still hurts sometimes and has a small whitehead looking thing on the inside around the piercing and always seems a little bubbled up on the outside. I clean them twice a day with dove sensitive skin soap, then take a sea salt mixture over them and add some tea tree oil to the water. I use the tea tree oil on my helix and nose because it seems to take the pain, especially my ear because it has had hypertrophic scarring forever that comes and goes. They don’t seem to be dried out to me so I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or what. Also I KNOW this isn’t good, but I have to sleep with a bandaid over my nose at night because if I don’t it will fall out. I’ve had to put my nose ring in about 3 times because it’s fell out overnight. Should it be fine to change my nose ring out to a flat back
so that I can ditch the bandaid in hopes that will help it fully heal?? Also I have a curved barbell in my ear and I’ve posted it on here a few times for other issues and everyone said it’s too big and that’s why it’s getting irritated so much so I need to change it, should I change that to a flat back too?
