Do you still get your period with your IUD?

Curious because it’s my third year and still have my period with it ☹️😭

I have my Copper IUD. It’s non hormonal and doesn’t affect my periods.

I had the mirena for a long time, I never had a period just random spotting.  I have the copper IUD now and have a regular cycle

It’s different for everyone my sister and I both had the same iud she never had a period with hers I still got one. With my new iud I still have a period just the iud doesn’t have hormones IN it.

With mirena 80% of individuals still get periods and kyleen 88% still get periods so the majority of ppl still get their periods.

It depends which IUD you have, with the copper one you still get periods and with the Mirena you don’t get periods

I had the mirena and I always spotted for 3 days the week my period was due. It was usually light. Some days heavier then others but never needed pad or Tampon
