Voluntarily removal..cps

Has anyone had to voluntarily give children to family regarding cps? This is a very long story.. but the caseworker came over after another bogus hotline I feel like. She stated my children were safe & needed to go with family for 10 days & we would have a meeting in 2 days which is tomorrow. The meeting I was told was to come up with a safety plan. But I feel like I was lied to & feel like in 10 days my kids wont be back home. I am not prepared or know what to expect. I told her no at first she was not making my kids leave without a court order. I told her she could call the police. So she did. The police kept stating they see this often & within that 10 days the kids are back home. They kept stating I was making it worse but not voluntarily letting them go. So this meeting tomorrow is with the case worker, her boss a neutral party & they want 3 of my family members there. I felt like if my home was really unsafe wouldnt she of showed up with something from a judge & the police to take them.
