Anybody take birth control to help ttc and it worked??

I’ve been bleeding so much lately and it’s getting so out of hand that my doctor wants me to try birth control for a bit to try to regulate my cycles and stop spotting. I’m reAlly doubtful it’ll help though. I’m going to try to post this in another group too for more answers, but anyone have luck with ovulating or conceiving right after birth control?

I’m sorry but no. My periods were lasting sooooooo long the last couple of years. Literally the only thing that stopped me from bleeding was birth control. I mean I bleed for weeks at a time. They kept telling me it was a horomonal imbalance because nothing else was wrong. I ended up having to do IUI then IVF to conceive. Even the RE found nothing wrong with me and said we needed IVF because of my husband😳 I’m so sorry your going through this. It took a toll on me physically and mentally for years. However my co-worker just found out she’s pregnant and she says she was on birth control. But the likely hood of that happening while experiencing horrible PMS symptoms is slim to none.
