breaking a lease

Does breaking a lease affect your credit score? We HATE our apartments. We hate the community we live around and the area. The management is terrible. Nothing gets fixed. We are very cleanly people despite having two kids. All my food is in airtight container or zip lock bags and we see fuckin cockroaches all the time. They won’t treat surrounding apartments only ours when we ask for pest control. I’ve seen the inside of our neighbors apartment below us and next to us and it literally makes me want to puke. I know the bugs are coming from them. Management just says there is nothing they can do which is fine, but they won’t let us move to another apartment for the remainder of our lease and ive just had it. When it rains, water leaks from our ceiling in many different areas!! They say they’ve fixed it and then it will rain again and it’s clearly not fixed. I just want to get out of here and buy a house earlier than we were going to regardless of the market but now I’m worried if we pay to break our lease early that it will affect our credit score.
