Miscarriage and failed IUIs

I’m so lost and confused. Last May after our 2nd IUI I ended up pregnant and losing it to a missed miscarriage. Then took the medication to pass the miscarriage. After a few month of monitoring, my lining wasn’t going back to normal and ended up have a d&c. This ended up being due to fetal tissue stuck to my lining. We now have proceeded with 3 IUI attempts which have failed. The providers feel that there isn’t any additional testing needed. I’m lost and frustrated that we are unable to get pregnant again. Anybody have any advise or have any similar experiences?

What's your protocol? Meds, monitoring, triggers, iui timings, etc?

That's why we kept at it a bit longer. I think our plan was 4 failed iuis sequentially before moving on (mostly due to our ages 37 & 42). It's hard to know what to do. I would recommend getting in with a fertility clinic for a consult even while continuing iuis. It was 3 months out for appts when we booked. We did get a lot of information that made me feel more positive about things. We had done all fertility testing through our OBs office the other year so they reviewed all that and suggested a course of action. Once you have that consult "you're in" and then don't have to wait months and months when you're ready to start. I wish you so much luck. All the waiting is horrific!

Oh gotcha, we have just done IUIs with the infertility department at my OBs office. We were hoping to get lucky with IuI again, but it hasn’t worked out that way. It’s hard to imagine moving on to ivf being that I was pregnant with IUI ☹️

I have a higher AMH even though I am 37 so it would have been fewer meds and I would still produce quite a few follicles. Have you been to a fertility clinic? It was a cheaper option. They also offered Invocell where you basically incubate your own eggs. We're in PA so I drove down to Penn Fertility in Philadelphia.
