Anyone here have a chinchilla?

Hey y’all I just got a 5 month old male chinchilla a couple days ago and he is just absolutely adorable. He hasn’t really wanted me to hold him but his previous owner did say that he was used to being handled. I’ve gotten him to the point where he’s okay with me touching him and he’s even taken treats or food out of my hand. What are some other ways that I can bond with him and get him to allow me to start holding him? Also any name suggestions? Right now the only thing that’s coming to mind is Nemo.
