Protein in urine?

I looked online at my information from my OB appointment today(36weeks) and noticed it said I have "trace of protein in urine" I know protein in urine can mean preeclampsia, but once they find some, can it go away?

Trace protein is a very small amount. If you do not have any of the other symptoms of preeclampsia, you're fine. Protein can be caused by several things, one of which is an increase in discharge, which I would assume you have as we are all well into the 3rd trimester by now.

Trace of protein isn't that big of a deal especially if you don't have any other symptoms. I had a trace in mine at the beginning of my pregnancy.  It went away and I haven't had it anymore since. My doctor was not concerned about it enough to really bring it up either.

Uhm it usually doesn’t. I’ve had a trace for weeks and then last week it increased again, so I had to go through more testing. A trace is fairly common though.
