I'm on Abilify for Schizophrenia... but sometimes i feel really sad is that normal??

My son took ablify for a short time. Maybe 3 or 4 months. He was always very sad and eventually became very violent while taking it. Once we discontinued use, things improved quickly.

Discuss with you’re dr it’s possible that you may need a low dose of a additional medication to help with sadness

I hate abilify. It’s terrible. Just my opinion and personal experience. I had an allergic reaction to it and since then I’m scared to death of taking medications. Some meds can make you feel depressed or worse. Talk to your doctor about dosage and/or if they think you should try something else. ❤️

It's possible.  You should discuss with your doctor and see if you need to adjust the dosage. 
Depending on how long you've been on it, you might just need to give it a little more time.
