Anxiety and pregnancy

I have an anxiety disorder.

Most of the time it’s very controllable, especially after cognitive behavioural therapy. I know my triggers and how to work through the anxiety.

I just found out I’m pregnant and every morning have had a mild anxiety attack (heart racing) worrying about if the baby will stick.

How bad is anxiety and stress on your pregnancy? Can too much anxiety and a high heart rate cause any problems?

It’s a cycle of worrying about being anxious which makes me anxious.

How do you stay calm in the first trimester?
