Getting a job right after having baby

Did any of you moms get a job shortly after having your baby?

I’m 35 weeks and was at a seasonal job until January and it was impossible for me to get a job after that job ended. I know they can’t legally say this, but I know it was because I was pregnant. I had 10+ interviews and even went to two employment agencies and nothing.

My husband and I are barely scraping by with bills. It’s TIGHT every month. My dad pays me to clean his house here and there every month but it’s just not enough.

I decided since it’s getting me nowhere to stop interviewing and getting let down until I have my daughter since it’s only 5 more weeks.

How hard is it to get a job/go back to work right after having a baby?

I definitely can’t wait the 6 weeks after I have her or we’d fall so far behind and I’m honestly so stressed and scared about this.
