Do loud kid’s toys bother you ?!

Tell me I’m not alone please! 
I absolutely cannot stand kids toys that make lots of noise. Like it makes me feel I’m having an anxiety attack when these toys are all making noise at the same time.
I think I have some form of misophonia 😓
Also I have a toddler and a second baby on the way and my in laws love to get the super loud toys that literally make me feel like my skin is crawling and I’m already having anxiety thinking about having toys for two babies... should I just ask them not to get us loud toys? Does anyone else have this? I feel like a nut 😫

I have recently discovered that when you suffer with anxiety loud noise's such as childrens's toys, car horns, doors slamming, children shouting etc can trigger anxiety and or panic attacks. They don't bother me but they bother my fiancé alot so I did some research.

I absolutely can’t handle too much noise.  I keep all the toys that make noise on the quietest setting.  With my big kids I used to let batteries die and never replace them.  I’d definitely ask for quieter toys because babies and toddlers do not need tons of light and noise in their faces anyway.

I have sensory issues so loud things bother me and make me feel overwhelmed. So most my daughters toys arent loud. She has some but she doesn't play with them a lot.

Yes, they bother me. Loud noises in general from my child bothers me. 🤣 sometimes it’s makes my ears literally wince it’s painful 😭😭

I rotate toys to keep them fresh (other than his top ones which are out all the time). A great excuse to pretty much keep those annoying toys packed away all the time and not worry if the person that gave them pops in and sees it’s not there.

Tip: if you put a piece of electrical or duct tape over the speaker, it dulls the sound

I’ve banned them all. We own very few toys that take batteries. And I’ve made that clear to family as well. We enjoy learning type toys, and things that require no batteries. 
A toy should let the child use their imagination, not play for them. 
Tell those that buy toys that you are choosing a different direction for toys for your kids. And that lights and noises on toys aren’t really welcome and will most likely be gotten rid of quickly.

I babysit, I turn all the toys off because they’re honestly so annoying. The kids can play with the toys without sound in my opinion 😂
