Should I stop swaddling?

My baby is almost 3 months old and recently she’s been ending up diagonal in her crib while in a Velcro swaddle sack after I put her in the middle. Should I stop swaddling? It’s the only way she sleeps at night otherwise she startles herself awake. Any ideas?

Yes it sounds like rolling is very close and you stop swaddling when baby shows signs that he wants to roll - this is how my son started moving a lot more while swaddled up, we started finding him diagonally like you and he started getting out of his swaddle. You need to start transitioning - I would swaddle one hand and leave one out do that for a few days until baby is comfortable and then leave both hands out.
