Disciplining 2 year old honestly needing advice!!

I’m not asking to be ridiculed or seen as the bad parent. First timer here and I thought I was on a good path until this .....

For example!

I would use the strike three method..

1. Bryan that’s not good to touch

2. (Move him) that’s not good to touch

3. (Tap on hand) I said that’s not good to touch! No touching

Worked and RARELY ever got to the tap or spank on the hand because he got the point when I moved him to a new situation.

Now he gets mad back and raises his arm to him me! ABSOLUTELY not ok! I know he’s only two but hitting (girls especially) is not ok and I need to figure out how to change this!

I thought I was in a correct path but when he raises his arm to me I can’t go about my normal 123 spank because I’d be spanking him for hitting... 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m a sahm of him and currently pregnant so I’m the constant parent and constantly deal with punishment! Husband is completely onboard but we are reaching out for better route since ours obviously isn’t working!
