3 months pregnant and I put him in jail

We've been dating for 6 months and we were ecstatic when I found we were pregnant in December. We had a couple arguements but not like last night. He slapped me and pointed a gun at me in my car. I then told him to take me to the hospital, I went and asked the nurse for help while he sat in the car. He got arrested and got his gun taken away from him. I am not with my mom 6 hours away and I miss his presence I feel so sad and alone. Will they ever change?
