To test or another cycle?

Hi all,
I have received back the report from the clinic after first IVF cycle, we have 4 biopsies than can go to PGS.
They are of course recommending another cycle to take advantage of PGS and send potentially more.
Is 4 a good number? 
What would you recommend?

I am 35 ... i did first retreival i ended up with 3 embryos. I Was planning to do pgs if 4 or more embryos.  I ended up doing 1 fresh transfer (which resulted in a pregnancy still at about 5 weeks so still early in pregnancy) and froze 2 embryos. If the fresh transfer didnot work I would have done a 2nd round of retrieval to bank more embryos and then pgs test them if more than 6 or 8 frozen embryo from second round.  Good luck

So we paid a flat fee of 1800 for the biopsy testing at the fertility lab that covered up to 10 embryos, if more than 10 embryos it was 200 per. Then we paid the genetic lab to test per embryo which is a totally different fee and billed through the genetic lab so I guess it just depends on if you're paying out of pocket or if your insurance covers and also how many embryos you are hoping to have for future transfers? I’m not sure what your PGS testing cost is but Cooper Genomics charges $350/embryo up to 5. So, you could pay $1400 to have your 4 tested and then decide when you get the results if you’re able to use them.

Honestly it's your call. The reading I've done says 3-4 embryos per 1 baby. Now you're sending 4 out so that's not to say 4 will come back normal (unless I am misunderstanding your post). How many children do you want? How old are you? What factor of infertility do you have? 
If it were me, personally, and I had the coverage or financial footing I'd do another cycle to preserve fertility. I'm 27 and it's all female factor (pcos and endo; remedied with surgery). I had 4 embabies make it to day 5 and I did not PGS. I went forward with transfers instead and am gearing up to transfer embryo #3 in a few weeks. If it doesnt take i plan on another retrevial cycle, or two, to stock pile some more embryos.
