The reason to give it again now during pregnancy is so that your baby will also be protected against the disease when he/she is born. It is actually a common disease again and very dangerous for small babies.

Absolutely get it. It passes on some Immunity to baby. They can’t get their own for several months, and pertussis can be fatal.

The risks of NOT getting it are giving your baby pertussis which can be deadly to a tiny baby with more immature lungs and immune system. Anyone who plans to be around your newborn also should get it
