Cat... reposting

I am looking for ideas to keep my cat out of my baby stuff that doesnt involve shutting him out of our bedrooms that is where juniors stuff is. He is fully vetted, deformed, flea and tick treated(we dont have those in our state) just incase and he does not have a litter box. He is an outdoor for pottying only until summer and does not spray. We love him as much as our dog and I see people letting babies sleep on dogs and stuff but cats are forbidden? I've tried water, redirection, nerf fun with the soft balls and just plain removing him.
