Outside play?

Question

We live in california so it’s great weather and I’m trying to figure out how to give my 11 mo don’t outside time. She doesn’t walk, crawls everywhere. How do y’all safely let them play outside?

I live in Florida! I honestly just let my LO crawl around in the grass and explore! I stay close and make sure she doesn’t eat anything she’s not supposed to (and believe me, she tries), but for the most part she LOVES exploring the outdoors!! I’d say just go for it!

I would just take her out in a stroller. Go by a swing, let her feel the grass.. Something like that 😊

I live in Arizona and he loves to be outside. I let him crawl around in the grass and he Likes to walk holding on to toys or playground equipment. We spent a lot of time telling him not to put things in his mouth, so he’s pretty good about not eating leaves, sticks, etc. His hands get dirty but easy enough to wash. He’s going to be sad when it gets too hot to be outside here (soon).
