Working with a newborn... how do I do it?
My husband and I are building a house and will be living with my In-laws for a while with the baby (she is due July 6th). My husband makes a fair amount of money and I was going to be a SAHM, but with the new mortgage and all the other necessities that will come with it, we’re thinking I should work too just for more comfort money wise.
Right now I’m a waitress and it’s great money, but I work an hour away and couldn’t do the drive with a baby. I was thinking of looking for a job in a school or office and just being some type of secretary. I’m just worried about leaving the baby!!
My in-laws will be traveling a lot to see their other kids across the country, so his mom doesn’t want to take a set schedule to babysit, and my family is an hour away.
How do you all feel about leaving the baby at a preschool? Is it worth the money? How guilty do you feel? I was a preschool teacher for many years so I see that side of it, but not the parent side!
