Baby shower

I didn’t even want one to begin with but my mil insisted on doing it🙄 even though I am expecting a boy and my first is a boy and he is almost 13months old. I did get rid of most of his stuff though. So I called it a diaper shower and said whoever brings a box of diapers gets entered to win $50. Well like 5 people came (2 of them my mom and grandma) and the rest my husbands family that I barely know. and I got only 2 boxes of diapers. And just pretty much clothes. It sucked and I had to leave early bc my son needed a nap. Also the food they had I didn’t even like. I just wish people would listen.
