Too much formula??

My son just turned 7 months (yesterday) and still needs a bottle during the night. I know they say you should stop giving bottles during the night around this age so am I wrong for doing that? I try to give as much solids as I can during the day.

Def should stop the bottle feed. My daughter is almost 6 months and has been sleeping through the night since maybe 7 weeks. By 7 months they do not need a bottle overnight. My daughter sleeps up to 12 hours at night.

My 7 month old son takes a 4-5 oz bottle overnight if he wakes up. I also try to give a good amount of solids during the day, especially before bed. I would LOVE for him to sleep all night, but clearly he hates me so. 😭

Eh to me that sounds a little early. We’ve just started night weaning and my son is 17 months. I know that’s later than most people recommend but my feeling has always been that if he’s hungry I don’t want to ignore that. We just started doing less and less milk in the hopes that he will not bother waking up - but until that happens I’ll continue to feed.

Mine didn't drop the night bottle until 9/10 months... What's the harm 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I'd only stop it if they then stopped drinking their morning bottle

My daughter is 9 months and hasn’t woken up in the night for a bottle since she was like a month old. She takes her last bottle at 6 then sleeps from 7-7.
