How am I supposed to dress my little August baby?

FTM and I’m so confused on how to dress my baby boy due Aug 22nd? I’m in Oklahoma so it’ll be in the 90s I’m sure. But inside will be on the cooler side? Help

We live in Texas so for newborn/3 month clothes we are doing short sleeve onesies, I have a few shirt and short sets as well, but I also have a few long sleeve zip up sleepers. 
6 month+ clothes I’ll do long sleeve and warmer type clothes since that’s when it gets colder here.

Outside, a onesie. Inside, a sleeper. My son has always been a little furnace though. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I did the whole onesie under a sleeper thing until he seemed too hot for that.

Also having baby in august, and in Oklahoma. Onesie and sleeper is definitely the way to go clothing wise. You will recognize when baby is hot. Then you can strip off the sleeper.

In the very beginning (first week or so), babies can't self regulate their temperature. I've been told by a midwife that even if it's hot, the areas to cover are head, feet and hands. Obviously you don't need a wooly cardigan or anything it's very hot a certainly don't overheat baby by covering them up. When they are able to regulate, you'll soon see what's necessary. Just get stuff that's easy to zip/unzip/cotton.

My first son was born on August 1st and we live in Alabama. We did onesies and sometimes pants with them. We just covered him up with a blanket if we thought he might be cool.

I think babies have a hard time adjusting their temperature so good to have options and make sure AC isn’t being blasted on them.
My pet peeve is when it’s cold or windy and parents don’t have a hat to cover babies sensitive ears

Same it will be warm here in Texas still but will be cold by October. I’m getting a couple summery things as well as some long sleeve onesies just in case
