Anyone else go in to be monitored?
I keep getting told if there’s any decrease in movements it’s better safe than sorry to go into labor and delivery and get put on the monitors. Almost 29 weeks. I’ve got a stubborn little girl in there. I try not to panic too much. But decreased movements have happened frequently. Sometimes it’s that she’s actually moving a lot but in positions I just can’t feel. I do have an anterior placenta but still now almost being 29 weeks I can feel a lot usually. Anyway, I’ve had to go in and be put on monitors twice now to make sure all is okay. And I hate to have to keep going in all the time. At the same time I’d hate it worse if I didn’t and something was actually wrong.
Anyone else go through this? 😣😣😣
Edit: To Kayla who commented — I am over 28 weeks. I am literally a day away from 29 weeks. At 28 weeks they tell you to start doing the kick counts. Babies develop patterns I’m well aware. Sometimes I feel her a lot, sometimes not quite as much, but it’s NOT normal to go an entire day or two without movement or barely any. You’re supposed to pick a time where baby is usually most active and should feel 5 kicks in 1 hour or 10 in 2 hours, and if not, that is considered decreased fetal movement. I never said anything about time frames or whether it was less than 24 hours, etc. so don’t make assumptions. I’m not paranoid. As I said in my post, I’m pretty relaxed and make it a point to NOT panic too much, which is why try to hold off and I said I hate to have to keep going in to be monitored. I wouldn’t just choose to go for the hell of it if there wasn’t good reason or cause for concern. 🙄
