My knight

Kinda long but POSITIVE! A lil over 6 yrs ago I was in an abusive relationship. My 9yr old daughter and I were dumped out in the streets in the middle of the night, mid January, 28°, AFTER I had just taken a beating. We didn't even have time to grab jackets, and her shoes didn't fit. This man down the street heard the ruckus as he was heading in for the night, so he came up the road as we were walking down the road with no idea what to do. He steered us to another neighbor he hung out with family, got me a coat, my daughter a pair of his daughter's shoes, and hung around to make sure we were good. You see, he had just buried his wife if 17yrs 6wks before this, lost his daughter to HER parents, and was on verge of taking his own life. Each day he'd get up and come over to their house and watch the dukes of Hazzard, was wat he'd been doing for past 6 weeks from time he got up to time he went to bed. After a week of this he invited with him when he left... He kissed me! My world melted away! He later told me about his suicidal notions and that we came along just in time, to give him a reason to live. And he rescued us! We eventually got into church and did things the right way and got married. We been together lil over 6 years and married 5 this year. He is my everything. We have kids from previous but his are grown and the 15yo daughter he lost wen his wife died, and my 15yo daughter in the home, but we TTC one of US, ya know?
