How long should I wait for him to say “ I love you” ?

I’m 26 years old and my boyfriend is 53 years old. We’ve been dating since June 2019. I’ve told him I loved him already but he hasn’t said it back. He is literally the sweetest person I have EVER met but my mind just sometimes wonder if he will ever say it. He does show me that he cares about me but I just want to hear those words.

I'm trying super hard not to judge the age right now but ...... maybe hes just not ready yet. There is no set time to say I love you to someone. Maybe he wanted to make sure you are with him for him and not his items.. . .

Men that age have been around, they've seen some things, experienced some things and know what they are looking for....it may just not align with what you are looking for.
Rather than aupining, have a serious conversation about your future. You may realize at that point that you are wasting your time.

The relationship is still kinda new so I would just give him more time. He probably just wants to be sure that the love is real before he expresses it to you.
