6 wk check up?

What does it consist of? Like will they just ask questions and give birth control options or do they also check you down there?

I live in the UK and the check up is completely different. I get asked what contraception I want to go on and if I'm feeling okay. We do not get checked physically unless we ask. We do not get checks to be cleared for sex. We're just told to have sex when we're ready and to use contraception. Here the 6 week check is more for baby.

I live in Canada and it’s just birth control options and they ask how you’re feeling down there and about your moods. Much to my surprise there is no pelvic exam and they don’t feel your stomach either.

I didn’t get an exam. He said it’s not standard unless you ask for it 🤷🏻‍♀️
