Any uncontrolled T2 Diabetics here?

I am overweight and my doc told me that I won't even ovulate until my diabetes is controlled.  Just curious if anyone is/was in the same boat and still conceived.

I'm uncontrolled, haven't been able to get controlled since finding out I'm t2 back in 2011. With that being said, early this year my normal range was in the 300's, got pregnant in june (I didn't think I ovulated at all) and it drastically dropped to ranging from 130-190. I did nothing different at all to get it to drop except eat more fruits and veggies. I then miscarried in August at 9 1/2 weeks. After the miscarriage my blood sugars have been ranging from 180-240. But I have most certainly been ovulating for I know the past two cycles.

My theory on doctors over the past couple of years is that they aren't perfect and they make mistakes. It's good to take they're advice, but you know your body a lot better than any doctor ever will.

I am also T2 diabetes... I just got back on my meds 2 weeks ago my sugars jump all over the place so I am working really hard to get it under control I go back to see my Dr tomorrow to see if she has to up my meds... I am also over weight I am 246 that was when the Dr weighed me 2 weeks ago... My husband and I have been trying for baby #1 for 6 years now

I'm sorry for your loss ❤ I haven't heard that pregnancy may drop your sugars.  Is that common?

I have no idea. I haven't hard a regular primary care doctor for a couple of years and my obgyn didn't understand that my sugars then were way lower than I was used to.
