anyone else in gender denial ?

was told by a private scan that she was pretty sure baby was a boy but still haven’t accepted it yet 😪 has it done at 17 weeks and i’ll be 20 on monday refusing to believe it until my anatomy scan confirms.

You should be happy no matter what the gender is some people have been trying for years to get pregnant and can’t get pregnant 🤰 just be happy that u have a baby growing inside ur belly and think about throws who can’t have kids

I had quite a few early ultrasounds due a subchorionic hemorrhage ,  during a ultrasound around 15 weeks to check the hemorrhage, I was told I was having a girl, my anatomy scan at 19 weeks confirmed it.
I was in denial, I always pictured my first baby being a boy, I went through a bit of disappointment  after confirming she was definitely a girl, going shopping definitely helped loads,and  picking her name .
I did feel a bit of guilt for even caring about the sex of my baby, she's healthy and that's all that matters.
I can't wait to meet my little princess.

to the lady asking about the ultrasound photo. it’s highly unlikely it’s not a boy. Also to the lady who thinks i should just be happy. i am very happy my baby is healthy and okay, after miscarrying last year it was definitely great news knowing my baby was okay. but i’m also surrounded by boys in my house and it would have been nice to have one of each since i already have a boy.

🙋🏽‍♀️ same! I have one at 14 weeks and it was with a nurse practitioner cuz my doctor was sick. At first she said he had his legs cross and it was hard to see then all of a sudden was like yep you have a boy. I mean it definitely looks like it but part of me is like well he only had one arm but by his face maybe it’s a finger or something 😆 I go in today for my next appointment so I will find out for sure even tho I know he is a boy haha. My first son was very obviously a boy he didn’t hide it.
