IVF time off

How much time off did you take for the entire

IVF

cycle? This will be my first time doing it and my doctor mentioned that aside from the day of egg retrieval I should be fine to go back to work. Although my job is not physically demanding I am not thrilled at the idea of doing therapy while physically uncomfortable and mentally not in a great place. My hope was to take about a week off from work but unfortunately I dont have enough vacation accumulated but I do have about 6-7 sick days.

Anyone take time off during

and if so, did the

clinic provide you with a note ? Would it be a better idea to go to my family physician ?

For my fellow canadians- how much time were u able to take ? Did you have to provide documentation indicating you were doing
