How legitimate are online birth controls?

Hi ladies!

So, I am new to sex. My boyfriend and I just recently took each other’s virginities after a year of waiting, and we’ve engaged in protected sex a number of times since.

Unfortunately, the topic of going on birth control has resulted in multiple fights between us. My boyfriend wants birth control just for additional protection, but I am hesitant about going on it. At first, I was mad, but I realized he was right - it does provide extra protection, and we could have sex without worry.

At 20 years old, I am still told by my parents to not have sex, and they’re serious about it. I believe if I were to ask them about going on birth control, they’d not only flat out say no, but also be pissed about the fact that I am becoming sexually active.

I was looking into The Pill Club and Prjkt Ruby for online birth control, and so far I’ve seen positive feedback. I just fear the legitimacy of the pills. Has anyone ever used their services before?
