HOT baby shower

So our rainbow baby is due Aug 30th and we live in AZ. By may its already going to be over 100 degrees outside and i cant fit more than 20 people comfortably inside my house in the living room/kitchen area and thats with some people standing. We have a list of about 60 people (including men and kids) but most likely only 35-40 will show up. We have a decently large backyard but i just dont know if people will be comfortable outside in that heat.

Ive been looking at venues and everything is SO expensive even for a smaller group. Since kids are invited i feel like a restaurant would just be boring for them and disrespectful to other restaurant guests.

Help!! Do i downsize my list and have it at my house for cheap or do i just hope people will rotate between inside and outside comfortably since its only about 3 hours??

Is it weird to just have it really early??? Lol
