So the other day I notice a lump on my sons neck. Took him today to see his pediatrician and she said it’s probably a lymph node that he could probably be getting a infection aka mono? She said it is 2 centimeters big. But she started asking me if has gotten bigger or has he been exposed to cats? Or does anyone have cancer in the family? When she said that my heart stop and I was holding back my tears. I know I should not think the worst but I’m a mom and than worries me. I just need to know has anyone’s child had this. What was the out come?

They did blood draws for TB and CBC and other infection tests also a chest X-rays.

I won’t get back results until 2 weeks
