Struggling with Metformin

Hi, PCOS - TTC for about a year.

My RE has now suggested Metformin and is requiring I be on 1500mg for at least 6 weeks before IVF. We have about 2 more cycles before IVF starts.

I’m working my way up in dosing 500mg, then 1000mg next and so on.

I’m really struggling with the stomach pain.. I’ve cut as many carbs and sugar as possible, low dairy and eating as clean as I can, taking it with meals, but it’s tearing me apart. Any suggestions? Please help! Thanks so much.
