Vacation with 3 month old?

My dad planned our yearly vacation, it’s an hour drive, in July. I was wondering is 3 months too young?? No beach or direct sunlight for the bubs but my whole family’s going and don’t wanna miss out. What do you guys think? It’s only for 3 days since I have work. Any suggestions or tips:)

Sounds fine. We took our son on a vacation when he was 4 months and I had just been in the hospital for a week (allergic reaction with nerve damage). It was around an 8 hour drive and we just stopped often. Our family enjoyed the time with him and I enjoyed a couple of naps.

Sounds great! I'm glad you already understand that babe doesnt need to be in the sun and such. I feel like so many moms take their babies to the pool and beach and have them out in it and it makes me cringe. Sunscreen is for kids 6 months and older as well so keeping them out of it completely is the best option in my opinion.

That sounds fine. A 3 months old can manage a 1hr car trip and at that age he wont be super heavy so you will be able to manage carry him whenever needed as will anyone else
