Hate nursing?!

Question

Anyone else HATE nursing, but you don't plan on stopping because of the benefits for baby, especially while it's flu season? How do you keep going? 
I feel like a bad mom, because I've always hated it, and I constantly hear moms talk about how much they love it.

I hate it and I’m only 3 months in. I don’t plan on stopping until she is ready but god damn it just annoys me. I have big ass tits and a fast let down so in public I have to get a full dripping tit out.. my baby still can’t handle my let down so she pulls away exposing my breast and spraying milk everywhere. I literally hate it.

Definitely don't love it, it's been nothing but one struggle after another. But we'll have made it a year in 2 weeks! I'm going back to work at the year mark so will probably be stopping because it's unlikely my supply will handle no daytime feeds for long (like I said, it's been a struggle). But as much as I haven't liked it and have frequently dreaded the feeds, for some reason it's making me unexpectedly sad thinking about stopping. It's strange

I love breastfeeding. But there have been days.. weeks.. whole months where I've hated it.. swore I'd stop. Lol. It's hard. Effing. Work. But still going strong 32 weeks later.

I hated it from day1 and stopped. I felt no “bonding” that people spoke of. She was exclusively formula fed from day 5. 
She’s 8 months now and I doubt my supply would have kept up with her appetite. She never ate less than 5 ounces. She’s up to 8.5/9 ounces every 4 hours.

I had a love/hate relationship with breastfeeding. I loved it because I knew I was doing the best thing for my son and the bonding. I hated it because it took me 4 EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY painful months to fix his latch. It was also very time consuming since I was exclusively breastfeeding him without bottles, I had to whip my boob out or go to the car all the time when I was out in public until he weaned at 19 months. I thought about quitting thousands of times but looking back at it now, I’m so glad I pushed through it. I’m sure you’ll feel the same way too when it’s over!

I am on the I love breastfeeding side but I totally understand how someone might not feel that way. It is a lot of work - both physical and mental, it's tiring, you can get touched out, baby's feedings are all up to you, and probably a bunch of other reasons. 
I think that if you want to continue then you short to set up a reasonable time to keep going, whatever feels reasonable and doable to you. That might mean only 2 weeks or a month. Try to power through for that amount of time and then revaluate the situation. Also, try to focus on any positives you can. I am not saying it's easy but surely if every time you breastfeed, you think how much you hate it it's going to be even harder.
Finally, don't feel guilty! However lover your breastfeeding journey lasts, know that you are the best mama for your baby.
