Test used to determine ovulation?

Hello please forgive me if this has been asked before.
My HSG scan showed left tube is open right tube is damaged .  Waiting for meeting with fertility clinic in 2 weeks. Family doc looked at results from scan said it's possible for the tube to be open but not functioning as it's more like a conveyor belt then a tunnel.  Is there test the fertility clinic can do to see if the "belt" is working ?

A laparoscopy and hysterscopy can be done to objectively assess tube patency and determine if the “damaged” tube is functional or what the deal is. My R tube is great! My L tube is blocked from scar tissue due to endo. The actual tube is functional but it is not open at the entrance to uterus. My RE left the tube there because there wasn’t a reason to remove it due to it being functional.

No if the hsg doesn’t show it. Blood tests that confirm ovulation don’t confirm the tube got the egg where it needed to go
