Help - baby won’t eat!
My girl doesn’t love food. We’re trying to ween off formula so she only gets formula 3 times a day per her doctor’s advice. She eats breakfast and gets a bottle. She’ll have eggs and sometimes small pieces of toast but not much else. Lunch is hard because she only likes turkey or chicken and not a big veggie fan. Hates fruit too. Dinner is a challenge also. (She gets milk and snacks in between meals.)
I still have to cut everything into teeny tiny bites or she won’t even consider trying it. Most foods go in her mouth and come right back out. What is the deal?? Does anyone else’s kid do that? She seems ultra picky about food being in her mouth and doesn’t like chewing. She loves the eggs I think because they go down easy.
Just worried we won’t be getting enough nutrition through food while transitioning. I’m sure she’s fine but I’d like to see her eat more and try new things. I always give her a variety of foods but she seems to be stuck in a rut. Today I gave her pot roast, potato, carrot and green beans and she just played with it. It was all super soft and in tiny pieces, I was sure she’d like it because she likes all of those foods by themselves.
