when is the right time to tell people you are pregnant?

I'm 5weeks 2days and I'm secretly excited about being pregnant. I just want to stand on a building and shout it to the world lol but is it too early? I've had a misscairage before in 2010. my emotions are just all over. my first prenatal appointment is October 1st so I'll get a ultrasound then.

Yes I think you should tell when you feel comfortable. If you want to tell everyone as soon as you get your BFP on a stick, go for it! If you want to wait, then wait. Enjoy your pregnancy and be happy. If something is to go wrong, then deal with it then. If everyone knows and you have to tell everyone sad news, you will have that many of people that will give you support. If you don't want to talk to anyone and tell them sad news, have a family member or close friend tell them for you. I'm going to find this so hard last time I told a few people straight away and then had an early miscarriage so next time I'll try wait till ultrasound or second trimester..

Have an ultra sound first I told everyone at ten weeks before ultrasound and miscarried now everyone seems to ask are you pregnant yet it makes me so mad!!!

We had to tell our families at 6w because we had a theme park trip planned and there was no good excuse for why I wasn't going on rides. We did a slow leak after that, telling a few close friends.

​You should do it when you feel comfortable. I lost a child a few years back due to pre-term labor. I'm currently trying to get my body ready for pregnancy again, as I now feel that I am emotionally ready. If god blesses me with another child, I'll probably just tell my closest friends and family, and my boss. Others won't know until I'm late into the 3rd term or probably until I give birth. But that's me. Lol. Best of luck :)
