Is anyone else not able to nap when their kids nap?!

Even if I’m tired I can never sleep when they sleep! Idk why! Am I alone?!

I can't either...I just keep thinking about all the stuff around the house that needs doing and then next thing I know, he's awake and my opportunity has gone!

When my son goes down for a nap that's when my newborn needs feeding, and because we are breastfeeding sometimes she can take her time. Then when she is done and I feel sleepy enough to nap myself, my son then wakes up. When he wakes he just gets up and plays in his room so sometimes I can have a quick light cat nap but mum guilt kicks in lol so I just go and get him.

I have a hard time falling asleep in general so by the time I actually fall asleep she wakes up. I listen to a podcast called creepypod and his voice is so soothing that it usually helps me fall asleep faster. Have you tried something along those lines?
