Any mammas had this happen to their toddler??

While I was at work today my son had a plastic trombone type of toy in his mouth it’s pretty long.. he ran into the wall and so the toy hit the back of his throat. Both sides of his mouth are super red, like blood shot. No actual blood. The picture does no justice. Just wondering if anybody has had this happened. I planned on calling the doctor tomorrow just to get it checked out...

He should be fine, just superficial trauma. But I’d make sure it’s okay and ask a physician. That being said, PLEASE do not allow your children to run with toys, toothbrushes, eating utensils, etc. in their mouths as I’ve seen children sever their spines from this.

I fell with a recorder in my mouth when I was a kid. It actually tore my tonsil covers but I've been fine. Got my tonsils removed as a teen to try to help and it did. Your son's doesnt look as bad as that, so should be just fine!

Apply turmeric paste (lukewarm water+turmeric)....it will stop Futher septic or infection......and it will help to heal fast.....
